After 2 successful attempts on the North West Passage, the Tecla will set of for her 3rd one in the summer of 2025. Join us in Dutch harbor and be part of this 49 day long Arctic adventure to Nuuk! For centuries the old world tried to find a short cut to the new world. Nations driven by the promise of endless riches sent their ships to the far north. Many never to return. Some say the Passage was forced by this ultimate sacrifice. Tales of frost bite and scurvy, caught in the cold grip of the Arctic winter, sometimes for years are no exception. Legends where born and hero’s died. To day the sad retreat of the sea ice in the Polar Sea has revealed many of the secrets held by the Canadian ice. Modern ice charts and weather forecast make it possible for us to navigate these same waters. By doing so we hope to build an awareness of past present and future, our future!
